As the season opens at MID-NEBR Speedway we are proud to celebrate 18 years in 2013. Racing action will continue with our regular 4 classes of cars and our Speedway Programs will still be in effect.
IMCA SPORTMODS WILL TAKE THE PLACE OF IMCA MODIFIEDS.
Fuel - Sunoco Race Fuel is the track spec fuel that all classes have to run. The track has Sunoco Standard Gas for your convenience.
Track License Program - 2012 POINTS FUND
Thanks to all the Grand National Late Model drivers who participated in this program for the 2012 season. This worked by taking the track licenses, half the registrations, current track points fund and Budweiser. The Top 16 Grand National Late Models benefited from this program. The Grand National Late Model Points Fund will be a total of $6,625.00. The Late Model track license will stay in effect for the 2013 season.
Rules for 2013 - Helmet rule will be Snell SA2000, SA2005 or SA2010. Mandatory in all classes in 2013. Anyone having to purchase a new helmet please try to update them as soon as possible. This will be the last year you can use the SA2000 helmets. Awards Plus Happy Hornets age group is 13 years old and above.
MID-NEBR Speedway will continue to allow 14-15 year olds to race IMCA Hobby Stocks at the Speedway. Anyone wishing to race at that age will have to follow IMCA and MID-NEBR Speedway rules. NO
EXCEPTIONS! The Hornet class has changes to the rules. The Grand National Late Model class or Crate Engine option will all be 50 lbs lighter. Please contact Doug for further information.
The Speedway programs were once again a success for the drivers who participated. Just remember those who support the track programs, the track will support the drivers back.
We look forward to and are very enthused about the 2013 upcoming
season. Once again we want to thank you for your continued support.
If you have any questions, please call. I will be happy to talk to anyone with any questions or problems. Thanks again for all your support. Have a safe holiday and we wish to welcome everyone to our 18th year.
